The main foliation in the Muret and Serre Units displays a different average orientation (see the lower hemisphere Schmidt (equal-area) projection of the main foliation). The tectonic boundary between the Muret and Serre Units is marked by zone of intense deformation (i.e. La Fracho Shear Zone) characterised by CS structures.
