Historical succession of the Hauterivian stage defined in the Neuchâtel area (modified from Godet 2006). The main lithologies are briefly described. The evolution of microfacies is compiled from Blanc-Alétru (1995) and Godet (2006), following the nomenclature of Arnaud-Vanneau and Arnaud (2005).
