Detailed section of the inverted stratigraphic contact between Upper Carboniferous porphyry (red, marked p, subdivided into two parts, 1 and 2) and Middle Jurassic iron-oolithic limestone (brown, marked J2, subdivided into layers 3–9, from oldest to youngest) in the Windgällen area (Canton of Uri). Layer 3 contains reworked pebbles and blocks of the originally underlying porphyry thus proving the higher age of the latter. From Heim (1878a: Plate 4)
