Compiled cross-section through Site 7 (Courrendlin-En Solé), constructed from the field and laboratory data collected from the site area. OSL dates confirm that the fluvial gravels at the base of the sequence (layer 5) were deposited during the last glacial maximum. During the Iron Age, sediments accumulated in a palaeochannel (legend in Fig. 6; height exaggerated by a factor of 10). The local stratigraphy and sedimentology (ringed numbers) is described in detail in Online Resource 7
