All radiolarians are recrystallized to quartz. Sample SRB 212. b Reddish-brownish slightly bioturbated and clayey radiolarite around the Carnian/Norian-boundary (radiolarian wacke- to packstone). The preservation of the radiolarians is moderate; the inner parts of the tests are filled with quartz. Sample SRB 213. c Massive chertified Norian red-grey radiolarian packstone.
