  1. Summary of locality mean paleomagnetic directions based on the results of principal component analysis (Kirschvink 1980). Key: Lat. N and Lon. E: geographic coordinates (WGS84), n/no: number of used/collected samples; D, I (Dc, Ic): declination, inclination before (after) tilt correction; k and α95: statistical parameters (Fisher 1953). The paleomagnetic directions, considered in tectonic interpretation are in bold
  2. Remarks: Locality 1: samples left out are most likely the re-deposited shallow water carbonates with negative susceptibility either scattered directions or bad demagnetization curves. *Left out from tectonic interpretation due to closeness to the direction of present Earth magnetic field on the sampling area. Magnetic readings for the field orientation of the cores were corrected using IGRF-12 International Geomagnetic Reference Field model (Thébault et al. 2015). The age determination was done by Milena Dunčić based on well preserved microfossil associations except for localities 4 and 8 where the age is from the Basic Geological Map of former Yugoslavia
