Location of the investigated profiles. S1 and S2 are in a forest (Staatswald), P33 and S are in the adjacent agricultural land (Lienert 2013). These sites lie within the former extension of Lake Neuchâtel. Site 1 is western of the main plain (Grosses Moos) in the area of a former lake.
