Scatter plot of the anisotropic characterization in the horizontal plane starting from north (\(0^\circ\)). The apparent P-wave (A) and S-wave (B) velocities were grouped depending on their ray paths: gray triangles—propagation within the carbonate-rich sandy facies and black/lightgray dots—propagation within the shaly facies. The black dots indicate ray paths from and to the upper part of the pilot survey (north of the main fault) through the shaly facies. They are used to increase the azimuthal coverage. Shots parallel to the tunnel wall within the EDZ were excluded. The shown anisotropy ellipses were calculated for the shaly (black) and the carbonate-rich sandy facies (gray)
