Al pfu in Ca-amphiboles and chlorite shows a positive correlation with increasing metamorphic grade I–VI and decreasing distance from the contact. There are two distinct Ca-amphibole populations. One comprises zones I–III which represent tremolite stability, while the other comprises zones V and VI, representing Mg-hornblende stability. Chlorite shows four different populations, indicated by the green trend line. Two populations occur within zone III and one each in zones IV and V. For both chlorite and Ca-amphibole, calculated Al compositions from phase diagram section computation are also shown. Numbers in brackets correspond to the reactions presented in 5.1.1
