Correction to: The role of the antigorite + brucite to olivine reaction in subducted serpentinites (Zermatt, Switzerland)

The Original Article was published on 26 October 2020

1 Correction to: Swiss Journal of Geosciences (2020) 113:16

Following publication of the original article (Kempf et al. 2020), a typesetting error was identified in Equation 1.

The updated Equation 1 is given below and the change has been highlighted in bold typeface.

$$\begin{aligned} 2({\text{Mg}},{\text{Fe}})_{2} {\text{SiO}}_{4} + 3{\text{H}}_{2} {\text{O}} = ({\text{Mg}},{\text{Fe}})_{\varvec{3}} {\text{Si}}_{2} {\text{O}}_{5}({\text{OH}})_{4} + ({\text{Mg}},{\text{Fe}})({\text{OH}})_{2} \;\pm \;({\text{Fe}}_{3} {\text{O}}_{4} + {\text{H}}_{2}) \hfill \\ {\text{olivine}} + {\text{seawater}} = {{\text{lizardite}} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\text{lizardite}} {\text{chrysotile}}}} \right. \kern-0pt} {\text{chrysotile}}} + {\text{brucite}} \;\pm\; ({\text{magnetite}} + {\text{hydrogen}}) \hfill \\ \end{aligned}$$

The original article (Kempf et al. 2020) has been corrected and the Publisher apologises to the authors and the readers for the inconvenience caused by this typesetting error.
